Note: This list contains only those items on general issue to all ranks. Mission related pers equipment may be issued by tasked units.
1. WORN ON THE SOLDIER:
a. ID discs;
b. Beret or CADPAT Wide Brim Combat Hat; (as ordered)
c. T-shirt;
d. Underwear;
e. Socks;
f. Trousers and combat shirt;
g. Belt;
h. Gerber multi-tool; (worn on belt)
i. Watch
j. CADPAT gloves;
k. Combat boots; and
l. Combat Jacket; (as req.)
2. CARRIED BY THE SOLDIER:
a. CF ID card;
b. DND 404s (as Issued);
c. Civilian driver's license;
d. Medicare Card
e. Ear plugs;
f. Notebook and pencil/pen;
g. EPC pen (Allergic/Bee stings);
h. Ballistic Eyewear; and
g. Lip balm;
(1) Kevlar helmet with Cam cover and elastic band;
(2) Camel back (if issued)
(3) Knee and elbow pads (if issued).
(4) Tac Vest. Contents are detailed below. All pocket directions are given from the wearer’s perspective;
(a) Small Pouch Right Side.
i. 2 x Field Dressings.
ii. 2 x Triangular Bandage.
iii. 2 pairs Surgical Gloves.
iv. 1 x Artificial Respirator.
(b) Large Pouch Left/Right Side (dependent on shooter)
i. 2 Quart Water Bottle; or
ii. 1-quart water bottle, cup and stove
(c) Small pouch left side
i. 1 x CAT Tourniquet.
ii. Israeli Bandage.
iii. 1 x Foot Powder.
(d) Large Pouch, Left /Right Side (dependent on shooter)
C9 gunners will store ammo in this pouch. If not tasked as C9 gunner, the items detailed below will be placed in this pouch.
i. Cam Paint.
ii. 50' x 550 cord or equivalent;
iii. 4 x tie wraps; (Plastic Cuffs).
iv. Iron sights; (if available)
v. Ear Plugs;
vi. 18 Gauge wire; (for trip wire)
vii. Matches w/Case
viii. CADPAT Gloves; (if not worn)
ix. CADPAT Wide Brim Combat Hat; (if not worn)
x. Extra mags; (if available)
xi. Wpn cleaning kit;
xii. Casualty and Detainee marking tape.
(e) Bayonet carried on front of (Tac vest or Large Pouch Left Side).
(f) Mags carried in Mag Pouches of Tac Vest.
(h) Small Pouch or Large Pouch with Zipper from Day Pack attached to rear of Vest (optional for contents of Large Pouch Left Side if used for extra ammo / mags)
(i) Compass if issued carried in Grenade Pouch (dependent on whether left handed or right handed shooter)
(5) Gas Mask w/ Carrier. Gas carrier can be slung or strapped to the Tac vest or carried in the vehicle (dependent on current threat). Gas carrier will contain the items detailed below.
(a) 1 x spare canister.
(b) 2 x detector paper booklets.
(c) 2 x RSDL packages.
(d) 2 x nerve agent detectors.
(e) Other NBCD specific items as directed.
(6) Day Pack Contents

(c) 1 x pair Gore-tex socks.
(d) Combat Jacket; (if not worn)

(a) 1 X Flashlight (Batteries removed).
(b) 1 x Sewing Kit.
(c) Foot Powder (In plastic bag).
(d) Air mattress repair kit.
(e) Spare boot laces (Black). and
(f) Cam Screen;
(2) Main Compartment
(a) 1 x Combat Shirt;
(b) 1 x Combat Pants;
(c) 1 x Combat Jacket; (if not worn)
(e) 2 x Underwear;
(f) 2 x T-shirts;
(g) 2 x Pairs of black socks;
(h) 2 x Pairs of green socks;
(i) 1 x pair Gore-tex socks.
