As you will learn by exploring these pages, The Royal Montreal Regiment is a proud infantry regiment with a long history of service to Canada. Reflecting Canada’s values, we were Canada’s first officially bilingual unit. Currrently, The Royal Montreal Regiment is the leading reserve Army unit in The Canadian Force's Army 34th Brigade.

The Regiment fought with distinction in both world wars, and its members have participated in almost every operation that the Canadian Forces have embarked upon since 1914. We have a proud tradition of service to Canada as proficient and professional infantry soldiers, and we remain ready to respond to the country’s needs. more
