Westmount, Quebec – 09 May 2019: As part of the RMR’s battalion review parade held at the armoury on Sunday 05 May 2019, the Adjutant was presented with the 34th Canadian Brigade Group Commander’s Commendation. The citation reads as follows:

“Captain Houle has demonstrated exemplary commitment to the RMR and the Canadian Armed Forces. Arriving at the RMR to an Adjutantry that had suffered long-term personnel shortages, he re-organized the RMR’s administration into a smoothly functioning cell. In his tenure as Capt-Adjt, Capt Houle has upheld every duty required of his position, and more, with professionalism and skill. He has set the standard expected of officers in fitness, dress and deportment, leadership, and loyalty to the CAF. An invaluable component of the RMR’s operational readiness, Capt Houle’s commitment to excellence is an example to all.”

Captain Houle was also being presented with a plaque as a parting gift in grateful appreciation for his service to the RMR. He is posted this summer to 2nd Division as part of the Operations cell.
