Concert announcement: Coming Home to You

Westmount, Quebec – 02 February 2020: The WO’s & Sgts’ Mess will be hosting an intimate concert on 22 February 2020 to raise funds and awareness for Guitars for Vets, a program that matches veterans and still-serving members with PTSD or other service related disabilities with a gently used guitar and online lessons / volunteer lessons where available. Putting the healing power of music in the hands of heroes.

Ryan Carey will be performing original songs he has written since returning from war. A straightforward, often roots musical style with a conviction that music has a social or communal purpose beyond just entertainment. His songs blend the story telling qualities of folk, blues, and country; describing personal woes and triumphs that veterans face while reconnecting emotionally to a world of harsh reality.

FREE tickets. However a donation at the door is appreciated. Used guitars are also being collected. Proceeds go to Guitar for Vets Quebec
