DOMOPS Mental Health Survey

Been on a domestic operation in the last five years? The DND/CAF Ombudsman wants to hear from you!

Westmount, Quebec – 02 November 2022: The DND/CAF Ombudsman is investigating mental health questions. The focus of this investigation is the identification of mental health needs and mental health supports that are accessible for Primary Reserve Force members. The Ombudsman’s office would like to hear from CAF members who have participated in a domestic operation as well as from the leaders who supported them.

During the past decade, CAF members have increasingly served in domestic operations.  This is an opportunity for you to be heard, and to contribute to substantial, long-lasting improvements to the well-being of CAF members.

The DND/CAF Ombudsman’s questionnaires are available for:

  • current and former members of the Regular Forces and Primary Reserve Forces who have participated in a domestic operation between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2022; and
  • CAF leadership members who supported (before, during and after) Regular Force and Primary Reserve Force members in a domestic operation between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2022.
