Private Hipson Wins the “Riendeau Reward”
Westmount, Quebec – 10 May 2019: THE RIENDEAU REWARD trophy is awarded to the RMR Hockey Team’s Most Valuable Player.
The Regiment’s Commanding Officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Shone, and the Regimental Sergeant-Major, Master Warrant Officer Leroux, were pleased to announce at the Regiment’s battalion review parade held on 05 May 2019 that Private Ryan Michael Hipson had earned the Riendeau Reward trophy for the 2018-19 training year.
It is named after former RMR Corporal Michel Riendeau, who donated the Trophy. He also played on the RMR’s hockey team and was recognized as a fierce competitor.
