Recruiting Push Continues

12 Aug 14THIS DAY IN RMR HISTORY – 12 August 1914 – In Montreal enlistment of new recruits for active service abroad continued at a rapid pace.  The men who signed up continued to live at home when not at their new duties in the various recruiting armouries.

Regimental Adjutants  of the RMR’s parent regiments placed notices such as those above in the local newspapers to help keep the recruits informed of the duties expected of them.
