RIP: Comrade William Picard

Westmount, Quebec –  16 November 2021: The RMR Association regrets to announce the death of Comrade William Picard, who died of lung cancer on 28 June 2021. William originally joined the RMR as a musician in 1961, and he joined the RMR Association (Branch 14) in 1974.

While continuing to serve with the RMR Association marching band until it closed in the 1990’s, he was actively involved in the RMR Association, serving as 1st Vice under Comrade John St. Cyr and as 2nd Vice under Comrade Tom Faubert.  William also served in the critical role of Sergeant-At-Arms for many years.
