Westmount, Quebec – 30 September 2022: The RMR Foundation sponsored a ‘RMR Fundraising Run’ primarily as a team-building activity and to strengthen the links between The Royal Montreal Regiment (RMR), and its affiliated cadet units.  Executed as a fundraising running/fitness challenge for the Cadet units and the RMR Foundation, the volunteer participants trained over the summer to complete 5K, 10k, 15k, 21.1k, or 26.1k runs on 25 September 2022.  Donations to the RMR Foundation qualify for a tax receipt (sent automatically when donations are made online) and the funds will be distributed to our affiliated cadet units in support of local initiatives that align with the charitable mission of the Foundation, subject to approval by the Foundation Directors.
