RMR Officer Returns from Op UNIFIER

Westmount, Quebec – 31 July 2025: Captain Rousseau-Filiteau returned home to Montreal following his deployment on Operation UNIFIER, where he played a key role in providing leadership and training to Ukrainian soldiers during his tour overseas.

Upon his arrival at Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL), Captain Rousseau-Filteau was warmly greeted by the RMR’s Padre, Captain Rici Be, and Regimental Sergeant Major, Chief Warrant Officer James Quesnel. Their presence was a testament to the Regiment’s pride in his service and a reminder of the strong bonds that unite the RMR family.

Operation UNIFIER, Canada’s military training mission in support of Ukraine, has seen RMR soldiers regularly contribute to the training and mentorship of Ukrainian troops. Captain Rousseau-Filiteau’s dedication and professionalism on this deployment continue the Regiment’s long tradition of service in international operations.
