In Army Cadet Corps affiliated with Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) regiments, the wearing of their affiliated unit’s cap badge is a rite of passage. It symbolizes belonging, respect, and the unique connection between cadets and those who serve in the CAF. For youth from 2806 Pointe-Claire (RMR), this ceremony with the RMR is more than a simple relationship; it’s foundational, this is an integral part of their identity and is fundamental in inspiring cadets to live up to the proud legacy of the regiment and its members who have served in it.
