A highlight of the event was the Commanding Officer’s address to the assembly. Speaking with clarity and conviction, the Commanding Officer delivered a message centred on remembrance, reflection, and resolve—emphasizing the enduring responsibility to confront hatred, preserve historical truth, and uphold the values for which so many have sacrificed.

The ceremony was also attended by students from Rosemere High School, reinforcing the importance of passing these lessons to future generations. Their presence served as a reminder that remembrance is not only about honouring the past, but also about shaping the future.
