Cet automne, des bannières seront installées sur les lampadaires de Westmount pour honorer les soldats du Royal Montreal Regiment. Chaque bannière porte un nom, un visage et une histoire de sacrifice — rappelant le lien profond entre Westmount et le RMR, depuis les Fusiliers de Westmount jusqu’à la construction du manège militaire en 1925.
This fall, banners will appear on Westmount lamp-posts to honour soldiers of the Royal Montreal Regiment. Each banner bears a name, a face, and a story of sacrifice — a reminder of the deep bond between Westmount and the RMR, from the days of the 58th Westmount Rifles to the building of the Armoury in 1925.
