Westmount, Quebec – 11 March 2026: Members of The Royal Montreal Regiment (RMR) recently took part in Exercise Xerus Guerrier 2026, a brigade-wide training exercise held at CFB Petawawa.

The exercise involved a wide range of combat arms and support trades, including infantry, armoured, artillery, combat engineers, signals, service, intelligence and logistics units. Training alongside these elements allowed soldiers to practice large-scale combined arms tactics and improve coordination across the brigade, bringing the training closer to real-life operational scenarios.
