BAND INSTRUMENTS WANTED

Westmount, Quebec – 05 October 2015: Cadet Corps 2862 RMR Westmount is launching a marching band program for its Cadets aged 12-18. Cadets will be given the opportunity to have in-house training as well as regional music clinics. Qualified Cadets will also have the opportunity to attend summer camps from 2 to 6 weeks.

Our 2015-16 objective is to have some eight (8) Cadets with an assortment of instruments which they can borrow from the Cadet Corps. Given that this is considered an optional training program funding of the instruments is not covered by the Cadet budget supplied by DND, therefore we are looking for the donation of the following slightly used instruments in good working condition or requiring minor repairs.

  • PICCOLO, FLUTE AND FIFE
  • CLARINET
  • ALTO SAXOPHONE, ALTO CLARINET & BASS CLARINET
  • SAXOPHONE, TENOR
  • TRUMPET, CORONET & FLUGEL HORN
  • TROMBONE
  • GLOCKENSPIEL
  • BASS DRUM
  • SNARE DRUMS
  • CYMBALS

Should you wish to donate an instrument or funds for instruments please contact Captain Wayne J. Dover, Commanding Officer, by phone 514-496-2003 ext. 2315 or E-mail 2862Armee@cadets.gc.ca

Your generosity to the Cadet Corps 2862 RMR Westmount music program is greatly appreciated!
