COMMEMORATIVE CENTENNIAL COIN ISSUED

Westmount, Quebec – 04 June 2015: As part of the ongoing Centennial activities, the Commanding Officer of the serving battalion, LCol Paul Langlais, recently issued a commemorative ‘challenge style’ coin to all serving members of the Regiment.

Coin front Coin reverse

The bronze-coloured coin has an image of the RMR’s regimental colour on one side and the Regiment’s centennial logo on the reverse.  The front side is protected by a clear epoxy dome while the maple leaf on the reverse is raised with colour fill in the numerals and scroll.

Along the edge of the coin is engraved “Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense”, the Regimental motto.

I’m trying to get a challenge coin for veteran Joe Brown of our Legion Branch 153 Tillsonburg Ontario. I don’t know his service dates. He is Black Watch and is very proud of his service.

Hi Darrell, I recommend getting in touch with the Black Watch directly as Joe would likely not appreciate getting a challenge coin from the RMR.

Hi. I was part of the RMR back in 1991. I was wondering if it’s possible to get a RMR coin.

Thank you
