RMR helps Hampstead turn 100

Westmount, 27 September 2014 – The Royal Montreal Regiment helped the Town of Hampstead celebrate their 100th birthday last Sunday, and used the opportunity to exercise their Freedom of the City, first granted to the RMR in 2008.  There were more than a hundred soldiers on parade, as well as veterans from the RMR Association (Br. 14) of the Royal Canadian Legion.

The Regiment also took part in the Town’s parade and helped kick off the concert where Ginette Reno sang Oh Canada.
