HCol visits 588 Eric Simms Squadron

Westmount, Quebec – 18 December 2024: On 17 December 2024, Honorary Colonel (HCol) Bensadoun visited the 588 Eric Simms Air Cadet Squadron at their training facility in Saint-Laurent. During this visit, he participated in presentations marking the squadron’s final training activity before the holiday season.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Best Instructor Award, an accolade determined by votes from peers and the Officer Staff. This year’s recipient was Warrant Officer First Class (WO1) Sivathas, recognized for exemplary instructional skills and dedication to the squadron.

The 588 Eric Simms Air Cadet Squadron, based in Saint-Laurent, is committed to developing leadership, citizenship, and aviation skills among youth.
