RMR Helps Ste-Anne’s Veterans Welcome the New Year

Members of the extended RMR Family at the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue veterans hospital, 31 December 2017

Westmount, Quebec – 02 January 2018: More than 20 members of the RMR Association (Branch 14) and the serving battalion spent New Year’s Eve assisting residents at the Ste-Anne’s (formerly Veterans’) Hospital partake in the 72nd Annual New Year’s Hospital Show that was being put on in the auditorium.

The RMR volunteers helped the residents (average age is 93+) make their way down to the auditorium and stayed with them during the show, assisting them with their needs before returning them to their rooms.

This special music and dance show has been going on for more than 70 years and is one of the more enduring New Year’s traditions for Montreal area veterans. Bravo to all the volunteers who made the time to help out!
